Restful Rituals: Grief, Love & The Mothers We Carry
Hosted by Constellation
What to bring: Journal, Writing Mediums, Essential Oils, Crystals, Heating Pads, etc…
For the ones who find Mother's Day complicated.
This is a space to hold grief, loss, and love. A space for grief that doesn't need explaining. For those who have lost a mother, a pregnancy, a baby, or a version of the future they were building toward.
Mother's Day has been difficult for me over the past decade. Losing my own mother made this time of year emotionally challenging. Last year I held a workshop for mothers for the first time since her passing, and becoming a doula opened something in me I didn't know needed tending. This year, after experiencing womb loss, one of the things that helped me most was talking with others about their losses. Being with people in person and talking on the phone helped me feel more connected to these very common, and very rarely spoken, experiences of grief.
My hope for this space is simple. To hold space, share stories, breathe together, and let grief be present in a way that feels nourishing rather than heavy. You don't have to be okay. You don't have to perform anything or say anything unless you feel drawn to. You can just be as you are.
We'll move together, breathe together, and simply be in the same room with what's true for each of us. No fixing. No rushing through. Just an honest, held space to mark the day in a way that actually fits.
You are welcome here. All of you. Even the parts that aren't okay just yet.
Mother's Day. In person. Space is limited.

Each gathering offers a different way to slow down and reconnect — from cozy reading nights and collective breathwork to restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, and immersive wellness activations.
Rooted in accessibility and sensory care, Restful Rituals invites participants to experience rest as both personal and communal — a return to the body, to presence, and to one another. Every event is designed to meet the season and the needs of the moment, offering spaces that feel restorative, inclusive, and deeply human.
