Doula Services
Doula care with Monarch Wellness weaves together nervous system education, somatic bodywork, and mindful planning so that you arrive at each threshold prepared, resourced, and held.
Becoming a parent is not a six-week experience. It is a continuing transformation, one that unfolds across months and years and does not follow a tidy timeline. Postpartum at Monarch Wellness is defined as the first three years, because that is closer to what the research and the lived experience actually reflect.
My preference is to work with clients across the longer arc. From preconception and the TTC period, what I call Trimester Zero, through pregnancy, birth, and into the postpartum years. This is not just a philosophical preference. Integrated relationship is the foundation of the work I offer. When I have walked alongside you through the preparation, the planning, the waiting, and the milestones, I can show up intuitively in the harder moments.
That said, families are not expected to commit to a continuous timeline. Life ebbs and flows, and people need different things at different seasons. You are always welcome to step away and return when the time is right. This work moves at the pace of your family, not the other way around. For first-time parents especially, having a consistent and embodied presence across the arc can make a real difference. That is what I am building toward with every client I take on.
I work with straight, queer, and trans families. Whatever your family looks like, you are welcome here fully and without reservation. For queer and trans families, the journey to parenthood can carry a particular tenderness. Medical systems, shifting bodies, identity, and logistics navigated all at once, often without inherited scripts for how it is supposed to go. You should not have to arrive already exhausted from explaining yourself. This practice was built so that you do not have to.
A note on pricing: Cambridge and Somerville families receive a 5% community discount on all packages and bundles outside of Perinatal Somatic Integration Sessions. BIPOC birthing parents and trans families receive an additional discount through the BIPOC and Trans pricing tier, because access to quality perinatal care should not be another barrier to navigate.

Pregnancy and early parenthood ask a lot of your nervous system, your body, and your relationships. These 90-minute sessions meet you at each turning point with practical planning, somatic education, and space to ask the questions you did not know you had. Each session stands alone or weaves into the larger arc of care.

Prenatal Somatic Integration Sessions are gentle, personalized practice designed to support your body, mind, and nervous system throughout pregnancy while preparing for birth. Each session blends hands-on bodywork, pelvis stability, myofascial release, breathwork, and guided movement to relieve tension, poses and practices for labor and ease common pregnancy discomforts.
These sessions also focus on building strength, stability, and body awareness to support labor and delivery, teaching you how to connect with your breath, release tension, and cultivate tools for comfort, alignment, and resilience during birth. Trauma-informed and fully tailored, Prenatal Somatic Integration offers a nurturing space to restore, connect with your changing body, and prepare for the transformative journey of birth.n text goes here

The first 40 days ask more of you than most people are prepared for. Your body is recovering, your nervous system is recalibrating, and you are learning someone new while also settling into a new version of yourself.
Postpartum support at Monarch Wellness is in-home and hands-on. That looks like physical recovery support, nervous system care, newborn help, meal support and practical presence so that you are not doing this alone. Day and night shifts are available, with packages designed to carry you through the weeks that matter most.
Pricing starting at $48 per hour

Birth support at Monarch Wellness is offered by a trained doula with hands-on experience. I have birth doula training and hands-on birth experience. Birth attendance is available as part of the Full Arc of Care only, so that when I am with you in that space, I already know you, your body, and your plan.
What that looks like in practice: somatic and nervous system support, comfort measures, positioning, breathwork, and steady emotional presence from someone who has been with you the whole way.
