Traveling & Virtual Studio

Monarch Wellness is a holistic practice rooted in yoga therapy, somatic bodywork, and doula care. Created and led by Monia Fernandez, it is a space for restoration, education, and community — supporting body, birth, and being through every season of life. While Monarch begins as a personal practice, it also grows in collaboration, weaving in partnerships and collective care along the way.

Wellness through every season of you.

From first breath to full bloom.

  • Somatic Integration Bodywork

Somatic Integration is a personalized bodywork practice that weaves together yoga therapy, myofascial release, mobility training, Katonah body reading, and restorative movement. Each session is designed to address chronic pain patterns, postural imbalances, and the nervous system’s need for rest. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, Somatic Integration adapts to the body’s daily shifts offering hands-on adjustments, guided movement, and breathwork to release tension and support stability.

This work is both therapeutic and educational, helping clients understand their body’s unique patterns while building sustainable self-care tools. Sessions can leave you feeling more grounded, spacious, and connected to your body’s natural capacity for healing.

  • Yoga & Community Events

Monarch Wellness offers yoga classes and community gatherings designed to support connection, embodiment, and ease. Each offering invites you to slow down, move intentionally, and explore rest as a shared practice.

From weekly classes like The Practice to monthly events such as Restful Rituals and Chronic Pain & Endometriosis Affinity Yoga, these gatherings create space for breath, grounding, and genuine community care.

Let’s come together to reconnect with our bodies, breath, and the people around us.

  • Perinatal Doula

Monia is a postpartum doula and yoga therapist in training offering care that centers rest, recovery, and connection. Through Monarch Wellness, she supports families in the tender transitions of early parenthood with a blend of bodywork, yoga therapy, and practical support.

Her approach is trauma-informed and adaptable — shaped by years of experience in yoga, somatic integration, and nervous system regulation. Sessions often include restorative movement, gentle adjustments, emotional support, and small acts of care that make space for rest and nourishment.

Whether tending to a new parent’s body, preparing a nourishing meal, or creating a moment of stillness, Monia’s work honors the rhythms of each family’s unique season.
